FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Susan Durgan TechSmith Names Director of Special ProjectsThomas McCallion helps TechSmith retain leading edge Okemos, MI – March 19, 2007 - TechSmith Corp., the world’s leading provider of screen capture and recording solutions, today announced it has hired Thomas McCallion as director of special projects. In this position, Tom will be responsible for business development as well as strategic product and growth initiatives for the company’s entire product line. "Tom’s extensive experience in the software industry will be invaluable to coordinating buyer opportunities, working closely with the product management team and effectively improving the user experience for TechSmith’s customers," said William Hamilton, president and founder of TechSmith. Prior to joining TechSmith, McCallion spent 10 years at Autodesk, Inc including seven years in product and product line management in the Manufacturing Solutions Division and three years in application engineering in Sales. He also held positions in mechanical engineering and design in the manufacturing industry. McCallion received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Hampshire and holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University.
